Order Processing

We strive to process and ship orders placed before 12:00 PM on the same day. However, during peak seasons, processing may take up to 24 hours. If you need your order by a specific date, please note it in the "notes" section during checkout. We'll do our best to accommodate your request. Accurate shipping information is crucial for timely delivery. Please review your address and contact details carefully.

Shipping

We prioritize the freshness and condition of your order. Most shipments are dispatched within 1-2 business days. For warm weather destinations, shipments may be held until Monday to minimize transit time. Please note that ADEA Chocolate is not responsible for damage caused by shipping conditions. While we take precautions, once your order leaves our facility, we cannot control external factors like weather or carrier delays.

Packaging

To protect your chocolates from melting, especially in temperatures above 19 degrees Celsius, we use insulated packaging and gel packs.

Delivery Times for Businesses & Residences

Our shipping carriers deliver on business days, with Saturday delivery available for an additional fee. A signature may be required upon delivery. Business deliveries typically occur between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, while residential deliveries are between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

When Will My Order Arrive?

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. To ensure optimal product quality, especially during warmer months, orders may be held until Monday for shipping. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on your location and the chosen shipping method, but typically take 2-5 business days within the Netherlands and the EU.

When will my order be delivered?

Orders placed before 3 PM on business days will be shipped with DPD the same day. Otherwise, they'll ship the next business day. Delivery typically takes 2-5 business days within the Netherlands and EU.

Are there any vegan chocolate options?

Yes, vegan pralines are available as well as chocolate bars, oranges, ginger and almonds in dark chocolate. 

Are there gluten free chocolate options?

All of our chocolate is gluten free. 

How long does the chocolate stay fresh?

We recommend consuming the chocolate within 3 weeks.
